Fishing in Venice has been RED FISH only//the winds and seas have been brutal...It looks like this week will be much of the same. The 55' has five 24hr trips to cancel and the 39 has four 24 hr trips to cancel....The wind has to stop are we will need a BAIL OUT....On a Good NOTE:::::::
Welcome back to a whole new week full of excitement and great fishing in Guatemala!! After a slow past week with blue water 20 + miles offshore, fishing started to pick up.
This week we had on the White Pelican Alvaro Fortuny's party on Thursday. Once more Capt. Tyson offering great action. They had a blast just 8 miles offshore. They where running out when @ 6 miles the rip had formed and the bait was on the blue side. After 15 minute with lines in the water the action started with a double hitter, SWEET!!! In two hours they released 6 sails out of 7. Great day for four hours of fishing!
On Saturday our good friend from Baldor Foods New York, Carlos Alfaro joined us aboard the STRIKE ZONE. After three days of hard work on Induexport show, he decided to fish a day with friends. Once more fishing @ 10 miles from shore an amazing day for Carlos that was his first time out fishing sails. 9 sails,one marlin of 500 pounds and a hand full of Bull Dolphin was a lot of fun for a day.
The week had lots of action and the bite is increasing. Come and join us in April and let's have fun with outstanding results. I still have room for one on the March 25th trip. If you have a passport, a suitcase full of shorts and a wife or girlfriend that knows you need a fishing fix come join the group from Lake Charles.
