As you can imagine, when the storm clears they are hungry and go into a wild, feeding frenzy… only to discover that things have changed.

First, the storm's surges have broken up coral reefs, torn up beds of sea grass or smothered feeding habitats with silt - all making it difficult to find food; so the fish become transient in search of a meal.

Second, swells from the storm have pushed around cold vs. warm water moving different types of fish to different parts of the ocean.

Finally, as a result of the seawater being blown toward the shore, the coastal wetlands become saltier than normal, which attracts fish that usually live in the open ocean.

After the storm waters settle, what I would call 'normal fishing conditions' have become completely scrambled... creating a fantastic, unpredictable fishing opportunity with potential surprise catches!

My bet is that the 'catching' will be exceptional over the next few weeks! Remember, the fish are hungry and we promise to have the BEST Tackle on the Planet!

Catch On!
