Ft Lauderdale fishing trips (10/10/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] The rain from yesterday is gone and we are all enjoying the slightly cooler weather. Recently our Ft. Lauderdale fishing trips were experiencing record heat for two days and we are happy for the relief from the rain as well as the heat.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing charters October outlook (10/02/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] October is upon us and we are prepared and ready, oh so ready, for the end of this rainy season. Today was beautiful but yesterday brought an afternoon cloudburst that lasted more than an hour, then sun again.
Ft Lauderdale Deep Sea Fishing (9/26/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We are seeing some slightly cooler days now as we move into the fall season. We are certainly welcoming this change as the now past summer was at times wickedly warm to say the least.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing area September forecast (9/05/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] September is upon us and the summer vacation trips with lots of kids and families were a lot of fun and the days seem to have flown by.
Summers end Ft Lauderdale fishing trip (8/27/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We received a call from Mr. Walsh for a last minute summer's end Ft. Lauderdale fishing trip with his wife Maria, son Grant, and his friends Danny and Luke. Our books were basically filled and we discussed scheduling a week out if that was at all possible and John checked back in shortly and the date was reserved.
Late Summer fishing in Ft. Lauderdale. Bring the kids (8/22/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] As summer winds down here expect some warmer August days. A typical high here is now about 92 or 93 degrees and we cherish those days with a little breeze to knock the edge off so to speak. It isn't really all that hot when you look at the temperatures from so many other areas of the country what with them hovering in the high 90s and even higher.
Wahoo fishing in Ft Lauderdale (8/11/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Fishing in Ft. Lauderdale in August, especially on the moon, offers opportunities at a very welcome and special fish as the one pictured here aboard the Marlin My Darlin. And that fish is the Wahoo. We catch them in the summer offshore around floating objects and edges as we have said in earlier reports, but August often has really nice fish right up @ the reef line only a mile or so off the beach.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing trips for kids (8/05/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We received a call for a mid week charter from Peter about a Ft. Lauderdale fishing trip for his two boys Nikko and Dillon. He was going to be in town with his boys and then the kids would finish out the summer with their grandparents home just west of Greater Ft. Lauderdale.
Fishing in Ft. Lauderdale near shore (7/23/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Fishing in Ft. Lauderdale has essentially meant once again staying near shore ( on and around those outer reefs) if you are looking for the best action.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing trips half day (7/18/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Ft. Lauderdale fishing trips for half day charters have meant fishing the edges of the reef lines about a mile offshore for us for several days. There are MahiMahi offshore but that action has been out in essentially 900 feet and that is a stretch for us, especially if you race out there and find they have moved on or gotten even further offshore,
Ft. Lauderdale fishing update (7/10/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Pictured is young Andrew Sallusto who joined us aboard the Marlin My Darlin for a charter while in Ft Lauderdale fishing with his family. As expected there are Kings and Bonito along the edges of the reef line about a mile offshore. Also we continue to see large Hammerheads with some regularity out in 300 to 400 feet of water.
Ft. Lauderdale Deep Sea fishing for Mahi-Mahi (7/01/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Summertime brings Mahi-Mahi front and center all along the coast of Florida and Ft. Lauderdale Deep Sea fishing can be very good for these colorful and welcome fish. For those of you who have experience and your own boats we have been doing well in the vicinity of 800 feet of water which has been the area of the western edge of the Gulfstream often as of late.
FT. Lauderdale Charter Boat fishing and children (6/20/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] As we have said recently summer is here and we now have numerous different species available offshore here on our fishing trips. AND the kids are out of school! We continue to get lots of children aboard our FT. Lauderdale Charter Boat Marlin My Darlin. A child or two and the fun begins.
Summer patterns for Ft Lauderdale fishing (6/16/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Reasonable chance for some rain on almost any afternoon. Lots of still mornings with only a slight onshore breeze in the afternoons. Comfortable sea conditions on most days for those with even the weakest stomachs when it comes to getting offshore.
Mixed bag on the edge for Ft Lauderdale fishing charters (6/10/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Our weather has returned to bright and sunny days and the temperature is pushing into the upper 80s. We have the A/C units running for those that want to duck inside the salon on the Marlin My Darlin to get a break from the sun and cool down.
Fishing in Ft. Lauderdale yielding Mahi and Tuna (6/03/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Mahi-Mahi and Blackfin Tuna have been offshore for those offshore anglers fishing in Ft. Lauderdale. Pictured are Bill, Hunn, Michael and April who joined Capt. Chris for a charter.
Ft Lauderdale Deep Sea fishing / near shore Kings (5/29/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Ft. Lauderdale deep sea fishing continues to offer a variety of species for our anglers. While we love to head offshore in search of Mahi-Mahi and maybe get another crack at a nice Blue Marlin the close to shore action right at the third reef has been strong.
Ft. Lauderdale deep sea fishing yielding Cobia, Mahi-Mahi and more (5/23/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Pictured is Corrine who joined her boyfriend Chris, his dad Keith, Tripp and his friend James for a Ft. Lauderdale deep sea fishing trip aboard the Marlin My Darlin. As you can see there are a couple of Cobia joined by five Mahi-Mahi and some tunas and Bonito. Lets talk Cobia.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing trips offshore offering Mahi-Mahi (5/17/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] More and more good sized Mahi-Mahi are showing up offshore in the areas of our Ft. Lauderdale fishing trips. These fish continue to move relatively fast through the area and they would seem to be primarily pursuing schools of Flying Fish as we noted before.
Ft Lauderdale Shark fishing and more in May (5/13/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Ft. Lauderdale Shark fishing continues to be very strong for those wanting to tackle something of substantial size and power. This has been a strong shark season and there are still large ones out there. The photo is of a large Thresher Shark and his signature long and powerful tail caught and released at boat side of the Marlin My Darlin.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing for Ronald McDonald (5/11/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Two to four foot seas greeted us today as we headed offshore for our Ft. Lauderdale fishing charter. Slightly on the choppy side but certainly very fishable and spirits and hopes were high. The trip today was part of an exceptional event sponsored by Southwest Airlines with the Ronald McDonald house the purpose and recipient. 23 boats cleared the inlet and set their lines for the day's fishing.
Ft Lauderdale fishing / April (5/01/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] This April has been right in line with Aprils of the past few years. We were expecting a lot of early April to lag behind the fishing of previous years due to our very mild Winter here, but the Mahi-Mahi did show up pretty much on time although in fewer numbers than we had hoped.
Fort Lauderdale fishing / Summer trips (4/30/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Summer is very much here in South Florida and our Fort Lauderdale fishing trip's catches are reflecting the change of season. Temps coming up on the upper 80s now.
Fort Lauderdale fishing for Mahi-Mahi (4/23/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Fort Lauderdale fishing trends are rapidly entering the warm weather mode and our most welcome visitors are the schools of Mahi-Mahi beginning to show with some regularity offshore.
Fishing in Ft. Lauderdale with dad (4/17/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Travis booked us for a half a day fishing in Ft. Lauderdale aboard Marlin My Darlin and the focus was on making it fun for his two boys Will and Parker. Will is 9 and his little brother Parker comes in @ 5 years old. Lots of junior anglers the last couple of weeks with Spring Break.
Elliott family Ft. Lauderdale fishing trip (4/15/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We had the pleasure of having the Elliott family aboard the Marlin My Darlin for two day Ft. Lauderdale fishing trips this week. These folks weren't experienced locals heading out for their umpteenth time.
Ft Lauderdale fishing with Todd and his sons (4/12/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Fun Ft. Lauderdale fishing trip today with Todd and his three boys. Todd and the three sons Chase, a 10 year old, Connor at 8, and Blake rounding out the crew @ 7 were onboard by 8 Am and we headed offshore.
Mahi Fishing in Ft Lauderdale (4/05/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] The weather for fishing in Ft. Lauderdale has left a bit to be desired the last few days. Back to back frontal systems has the seas running and the skies cloudy with only partial sun.
Sailfish in the Ft Lauderdale fishing area (4/01/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] A succession of weather fronts pushing into South Florida has resulted in an increase of Sailfish in our Ft Lauderdale fishing area. These frontal systems while bringing some showers that we could do without have gotten the Sailfish moving.
Ft Lauderdale Fishing Wahoo (3/24/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Ft. Lauderdale fishing charters continue to offer good opportunities for Wahoo. Sail fishing has been very erratic and the presence of Wahoo on many days continues to be a big plus. Pictured are angler Norm and 1st mate Brian with a freshly gaffed fish aboard Marlin My Darlin. A stellar year for the Wahoo here. Overall poor for the Sails. One here / one there.
South Florida fishing Smoker Kings here (3/16/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Here on the Gold Coast of South Florida fishing for Smoker Kingfish has been on the upswing. In conversations with other Captains fishing out of inlets above and below us they have spoken to us about the presence of these larger fish in their fishing areas as well.
Sailfishing Ft. Lauderdale (3/09/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Today we had Mike, Marlin, Frank and Victor aboard the Marlin My Darlin and the target was Sailfish. Ft. Lauderdale gave us a postcard perfect day with a morning in the upper 60s climbing into the 70s and bright sunny skies
Birthday Ft. Lauderdale Fishing Trip for Andrew (3/03/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] This morning day charter was reserved over a month ago. Andrew, a fine and polite 15 year old wanted a Ft. Lauderdale fishing trip for his sixteenth birthday and that is what he got as his mom checked availability and reserved the charter for him and three of his friends. Kids only, no adults and off we went.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing Wahoo Dj Vu (2/27/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We have spoke often here recently about the number of Wahoo available on our Ft. Lauderdale fishing charters. Sails remain scattered on most days, Kings are erratic and Mahi in and out. Some good days and some tough ones.
Wahoo still biting off Ft. Lauderdale (2/24/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We continue to see good numbers of Wahoo offshore of Ft. Lauderdale on our fishing charters. These fish are as always a welcome addition to the catch, and a half day charter gives us a good shot at them as they are close in. The majority of these fish remain just off the reef line and we are catching most of them right out front within two miles of the inlet.
Deep Sea Fishing Ft Lauderdale (2/12/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] The continued warm weather here has resulted in a winter with many deep sea fishing twists. When the wind blows a little out of the east and the water is clean we expect to see a few Mahi-Mahi along the reeflline this time of year but they continue to be scarce.
Deep Sea fishing Ft Lauderdale (2/06/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Deep Sea fishing here in Ft. Lauderdale continues to have its ups and downs. One day produces a good catch and that doesn't mean the following day will not be a struggle.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing charter yields White Marlin (1/31/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] It is very unusual to catch a White Marlin on a Ft. Lauderdale fishing charter. It is very much unusual to catch a White Marlin anytime off of SE Florida for that matter.
Children's fishing trip off Ft. Lauderdale (1/23/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We had Mike and his family aboard the Marlin My Darlin for a half day afternoon charter. Mike is a regular with us here @ All- Inclusive Sportfishing and he and the boys are always a lot of fun. Mike kicks back and turns the boys loose. It's all about the kids.
Sailfish season is here. (1/18/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] With the cooler weather finally here in South Florida we are all set for the expected push of Sailfish in good numbers that we have been waiting for.
Wahoo offshore of Ft. Lauderdale (1/15/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We continue to find some really nice Wahoo offshore of Ft. Lauderdale. Pictured is 1st mate Brian and Conrad on a recent charter holding a very nice fish.
Catching Mutton Snappers offshore Southeast Florida (1/09/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We are catching some nice full grown Sailfish and nice fat Kings offshore of Ft. Lauderdale. And that wind continues to blow. Grey Tile fishing in 400 feet has been very strong on days of light current. But we want to touch base on another bottom fish we have been catching and that is the Mutton Snapper.
Tiger Shark off Ft Lauderdale (1/01/2014)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We continue to deal with what is beginning to seem like an almost permanent strong easterly wind here in South Florida. We are all ready for a break from this almost daily breeze and although we all know it can help the fishing catches a few more days of less of a breeze would be nice.
Sailfish and Marlin My Darlin (12/23/2013)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Winter has arrived (at least according to the calendar / most days are still hitting above 80) and fishing in general has begun to pick up. Small bunches of keeper sized Mahi (gaffers) are moving through with more regularity.
Ft Lauderdale fishing trips catching Sailfish (12/13/2013)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] As we move deeper into December all that horrible weather up north has had an affect on our fishing here. We continue to remain warm as those fronts press their way down here with only a slight change in temperatures, but they are bringing plenty of wind and that has got fishing up a bit here in Ft. Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale December fishing forecast (12/05/2013)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] And here comes the Fort Lauderdale fishing forecast of what we expect to encounter offshore if fishing follows the pattern of Decembers past.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing (12/04/2013)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We had the pleasure of having Steve, Seth and Mathew the Marlin My Darlin. With all the wind lately the fishing has picked up somewhat and hopes were high as we headed offshore.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing charter Mahi-Mahi (11/22/2013)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] We had Max and his son Kadigan aboard the Marlin My Darlin for a day Ft. Lauderdale fishing charter today. This was a special trip for young Kadigan as he loves to fish back home in Oklahoma in the sweet water with his dad and wanted to tangle with something a bit larger and stronger in the saltwater offshore here.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing for Sailfish (11/19/2013)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] When the wind blows out of the NE in November in Ft. Lauderdale fishing for Sailfish becomes a good option for a successful charter for anglers hoping for a big fish. And we have had nothing but wind for over a week now and the rough sea conditions have caused us to stay ashore a couple of days we were o-so-ready.
Ft. Lauderdale fishing with Nine Inch Nails (11/04/2013)
[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Chances are you have heard of the band Nine Inch Nails and we were happy to welcome some of the boys associated with that group aboard today to try their hand at some Ft. Lauderdale fishing.
