These guys were all originally Michigan. We had Gordon, Rod, Stan and 94-year old Penny I mean Bennie (LOL)

We went right to kite fishing with 4 live baits suspended from our kites and the trap was set.

Alexander saves the day with an 88 inch sailfish off the coast of Fort Lauderdale January 29th, 2013 Today we fished with Alexander and I am sorry to say that we never did get the names of the other anglers aboard today but what I can tell you is that finally fishing is getting better and better everyday with the cold fronts starting to move through and with the full moon gone.

Once again fishing was on the slow side today with the lack of winter cold fronts and now with a full moon to boot fishing has just been tough the last few days.

Fishing with the LUCKY FAMILY from Michigan off Fort Lauderdale January 20th, 2013 WOW what a fun day on the water off the coast of Fort Lauderdale aboard the Hooked Up. Today we took Dave, Mary, Sara and Nick out fishing or should I say catching. Talk about our lucky day. We started out Kite fishing and before you knew what was going on Sara was fighting a big Sailfish and I do mean a big one because after a good 20 min fight she had her 89-inch sailfish to the boat!

Mike, Mike and Dan having a ball fishing off the coast of Fort Lauderdale January 11th, 2013 Today we fished with Mike and his 2 sons Mike and Dan. We started out kite fishing with live baits suspended from the kites and 1 dead bait also suspended from the kite. Ok so now the trap was set and now all we needed was for some big sea monster to come along and take a bite!! And that's just what happen when this big sailfish popped up

February is the start of shark fishing season in Fort Lauderdale. Today we went out on a shark fishing charter and caught a nice hammerhead shark. We also caught a pile of tilefish deep dropping while we were waiting for the shark bite.
