[Fort Lauderdale,FL] Kite Fishing in Fort Lauderdale with George and Barbra February 1st, 2012 Here we are on the first day of Feb. and what a great way to start out the month. We had Barbra and George from New York aboard and Big Game was the kind of fish we were after. On our way out we picked up a dozen live baits from the bait boat and went right out to 130 feet of water and sent out both our fishing kites with 2 live baits suspended from each kite.

Ok time for plane B. So in came the trolling gear and out went the kites with live baits suspended from them. While we were thinking we might get lucky and catch a sailfish we never expected a shark to pop up in 120 feet of water.
