[Lake Allatoona,GA] There are fish schooling all over the lake right now.. The top water bite is the best I have seen in years. Stripes, Hybrids and spots are busting all over the lake right now. The south end of the lake is the place to be for numbers. But if you want a big fish you would be better off fishing mid-lake to the northend. Numbers can also be found mid-lake as well.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] This fishing report is brought to you in loving memory of Doriam Royster. Doriam is the 17 year boy who drown on Lake Allatoona Sun. Doriam will be missed by his Family and friends.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Trolling is really starting to heat up. You can't beat a Mack Farr u-rig right now. We are catching a mixs bag of fish on them right now. Stripers, Hybrid and Spots are all doing well on the u-rigs right now. 3.1 miles and hour is the key to catching fish on the u-rigs right now..
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Well fishing is starting to pick up on Allatoona. The southend of the lake is still holding fish. But not as many as weeks past. I caught fish this past week end as far north as Kelloggs Creek.

[Carters Lake,GA] Trolling is really starting to heat up. Troll your u-rigs over main lake points and hold on... March is a good month for me when it comes to trolling...
[Lake Allatoona,GA] STRIPERS The is is GOOD for big fish. Where not catching a lot of fish right now. But what we are catching are MONSTERS...I had a really good month for big fish. 8 fish this month over 25 pounds with 4 of them being over 30 pounds... The southend of the lake is by far the best place to be right now....
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Trolling is starting to pick back up. Troll your Mack Farr u-rigs right on the edge of the creek channel and hold on. Spring Break is all most here. I got only a few days left open call me before there all gone.
[Carters Lake,GA] Just like Allatoona the Mack Farr u-rig in all white trolled right on top of the bait will get you bit. For the next 2 months we are going to have a Carters Lake special a full day trip for 2 people (8 hours) for $350.00 and if you mention Ken Sturdivant you can add a 3 person for FREE and remember kids all ways fish free with paying adults.
[Carters Lake,GA] Line sides fishing is Fair on Carters right now. Fish the same way this week as last. Trout are still the ticket early in the morning on Flat-lines and planner boards. But there is only about and hour window that this will work. Right at sun up. And then the bite does a 180 on us. They go DEEP real deep.

[Lake Allatoona,GA] Clear water is still the Ticket, Hope to have a better report next week but as a right now nothing has change , . When you find clear water. There is nothing better then big trout fished on planer boards and flatlines right at sun up to catch a monster striper.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Trolling -Mack Farr u-rigs is by far the best all round bite going right now. This past week Mack Farr and myself did a seminar at BoatersWorld in Marietta. Mark Cantrall and his friend Jim Gibson came to it..
[Lake Allatoona,GA] You can catch a big fish free lining big baits early in the morning. And the main points around the dam has been best for big fish. You want get a lot of bites but most will come from big fish. Trollers should be pulling Mack Farr umbrella rigs in the river channels during mid day. In the morning try pulling your rigs in water less then 20 feet deep and this includes shallow humps out in open water.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line sides fishing is good and not much has change from last week. The lake is stain from one end to the other. Finding clear water is the ticket. Free lines and planner boards in the morning and late afternoon and then down lines in the middle of the day. As the water starts to clear fishing should get better.

[Lake Allatoona,GA] Good. For stripers, big baits fished on planer boards have been producing some good-sized stripers and good numbers, . "I'm using big gizzards or big trout, and I'm back in the creeks and in the rivers. Little River, the mouth of the Etowah in the Delta have been producing best for me.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line sides fishing is good. Fish these fish the same as last week. The lake is stain from one end to the other. Finding clear water is the ticket. Fish these fish the same as last week. Free-lines and planner boards in the morning and late afternoon and down lines in the middle of the day. As the water starts to clear fishing should get better.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line sides fishing is still good for big fish this week and the numbers are starting to pick up. We aren't loading the boat, but if you fish hard you can catch 10-15 on any given day. Mid-lake seems to be the best. There is still fish on the south end of the lake. But there is a lot of people fishing for them down there.
[Carters Lake,GA] Line-side fishing is Great Nothing has change since last week. We are catching some big fish right now. Mid lake seems to be where the most action is right now. These fish are wanting to feed on top. Flatlines and planner boards are working Great with BIG TROUT. Barts Bait and Tackle has some really good bait right now.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line-sides Good the fishing slowed down a little after the cold front that we had last week. But has really started to pick back up in the past couple of days .Flat lines and Planner Boards are working very well right at sun and then again at sun down. Trout Gizzard shad and Thread fins are all working well. The shiner bait has really slowed down. After the sun comes up try down lining of a any main lake point.

[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line-sides Fishing is Still Great Guys nothing has change since last week. Keep fishing the same way your have been. Planner Boards and flat lines at sun up and sun down. And troll the rest of the day. Fishing on Allatoona and Carters is at it's best. Get the kid and go . Mid-lake is still the place to be. There are tons of fish between Kellogg Creek and Stamp Creek right now. This is the only part of the lake I have needed to fish in the past 3 weeks. There may be some fish up in Allatoona Creek I just haven't been that far south in weeks.
[Carters Lake,GA] Guys I got to fish with one of my favorite clients Grayson Usrey of Kennesaw. Grayson is and old pro in my boat at the ripe old age of 9. Grayson has caught stripers with me up to 18 pounds.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line-sides Fishing is GREAT right now. Striper fishing has really change in the past week. The water Temp. Finally hit the magic number of 55 degrees and with that the top water action has taken off. Flat-lines and Planner Boards are working GREAT right at sun up Threadfin and Gizzard shad are working good. By mid-day change over to down-lines . But Trout seems to be out fishing shad 3 to 1 right now. The DUGOUT in Marietta has Trout right now.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line side fishing is Very Good right now. The bait is still out over the river channel and so are the fish. Down lines are working best right now. And the fish are deep. The best bite is between 24-40 feet deep. Gizzard shad and threadfins are working best. Mid lake seems to be holding most of the bait and fish right now. But in the next couple of weeks we should start seeing more bait on the south end of the lake and with the bait comes the fish.

[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line-sides fishing is GOOD Fishing is the same this week as last. Change nothing. The lake is looking good right now. Clear water and no smell and very few air pockets. This means the end of the turn over. And time to get back on the water. I'm starting to boat good numbers of fish. With most of them being hybrid and spots. With a few stripers mixed in.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line-sides fishing is GOOD and getting better. The lake is looking good right now. Clear water and no smell and very few air pockets. This means the end of the turn over. And time to get back on the water. I'm starting to boat good numbers of fish. With most of them being hybrid and spots. With a few stripers mixed in.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line sides Not much has change fishing is still on the slow side. But has pick up a little. With mid lake to the north end being the best place to look right now. With the cold nights we have had in the past few days. The water temp is down below 70. So we should start to see some good fishing real soon. Just remember the lake is all most turn over so it’s time to start pulling flat lines and planner boards. This will work best in the morning and afternoon. And during mid day try down lining in the mouth of the creeks. These fish are deeper right now then weeks past.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line sides fishing this week has been the worst I have seen in a long time on Allatoona. They seem to be scattered from all the way up the river as far as Canton to as far South as Allatoona Creek. And to make it worst when you do find them they want eat. Nothing seems to be working. They just got lock jaw and want eat.
[Lake Allatoona,GA] Line-sides, Fishing is hit and miss right now. One day you can catch a doz. in and hour. Then on the next day do good to boat 4 or 5 the whole day. The lake is turning over right now. So the fish are still scatter from north to south. And up and down in the water column. Will the cold nights that we have been having I look for the lake to be completely turn over with in the next two weeks. And then the fishing should be on fire for line-sides.
