[Mosquito Lagoon,FL] Fishing has been normal during this summer of 2020 even though the rest of the world is not, charters running at about half the normal numbers with some people taking vacations, some people staying home. Catching lots of variety of saltwater fish in the backwaters including Redfish, Seatrout, Snook, Black Drum , Jack Crevalle and more.

[Miami,FL] They say one fish can turn a bad day into a good day. Such was the case with my personal best blackfin. After a few hours of drifting live ballyhoo I finally hooked up on my final drift....great fighting fish. Went home happy and had some great sushi!

[Miami,FL] Slow trolled live mullet up and down bridge span. First had tarpon take a run but lost on first jump. Just before calling it quits saw line peeling off reel. Thought I was stuck on bottom and brought it up and saw huge tarpon (100lb +)which then proceedes to take off. After 10 min fight lost it boat side.....thems the breaks!

[Miami,FL] Took a shot and went out late afternoon with one mullet and pinfish in livewell. Started drift in 200ft with live mullet and got slammed at 170ft. Fish missed and watched it come back to finish the job. 30ish lb blackfin!

[Flamingo,FL] Quickly picking off a few trout, the next two fish landed were snook and redfish to complete the slam and we weren't in the good part of the tide yet! The rest was working on numbers and we lost count.

[Fort Lauderdale,FL] The latest front has just passed through and we have put a pretty fair amount of rain thankfully behind us as this one was a pretty wet one but also a pretty mild one, barely moving the thermometer a few degrees. Warm and pleasant here again and the weather people say it is going to be a beautiful postcard worthy week with a quick rain and some wind coming in on friday and then a clear and sunny weekend.
