Well it has been a sailfish frenzy this last week here in Puerto Vallarta Mexico the hot spot has been between punta de mita and corbetana a reef 36 miles out of the bay. those 300 lb yellow fin tuna's will be back running this May. but for now its the season for for sailfish wahoo, and mahi mahi, they have allbeen running between corbetena and the point off of punta de mita.

While it's certainly NOT big tuna or black marlin season as described in other reports...there are a ton of tunas offshore on porpoise schools if you know where to look for them....
