Hello July 2009. Well almost. On June 29th our tough fishing spell went into trip two. This was the end of a short tough fishing run. We had a couple young men from here in town and after several good tarpon trips in a row the tarpon took the evening off.

Since my last report, we've done our fair share of fishing along with Knot Nancy going into Whitewater for new electronics and many new upgrades. In general, we are now into our summer fishing mode. The unusual thing about this summer so far is the numbers of days that we've had south, southwest, and west wind.

What a great month June has been. June 5th we had Brian and his guest out fishing and caught so many kings and bonito that I lost count. We also caught a sailfish, a mutton snapper and a blackfin tuna.
