Awesome weather was presented to us and our morning session went well with 6 largemouth bass landed and released, most of them around keeper size (30cm), nothing took on top water and so we had to fish deeper to get some fish. The afternoon went slower and we went even deeper and we got 4 more bass, Janick was going really slow and this paid off

It was nice to be back in surroundings that are so familiar after a long period of absence, but the conditions were far from ideal with it being extremely hot and the water surface temperatures at 29.8 deg. C and I could see on my sonar that this warm water was is the 1st 4 meters

The day started out overcast and little bit of rain here and there and the water surface temperature averaged around 26 deg. C. In the morning there was very little wind but later on a SW wind picked up and the sun showed it face and made for a really hot day. The dam was completely flooded and the water level considerably higher that it was the last time we were there.

We went down to Inanda Dam and launched at around 06h30 for a quick morning session of Bass fishing and fished until 09h30. There was virtually no wind and the water was like glass, the water was crystal clear and the surface temperature varied between 24-25 deg. C. It was a beautiful warm summer's morning. I have not been down to Inanda in a while and really enjoyed it.

The sea has been rough lately with the large frontal system and today was no exception and so I had to postpone my deep sea fishing booking off Durban for safety reasons and decided to go down to Inanda Dam South Africa with some buddies for a morning of bass kissing (fishing).
