In the last week or so, the redfish bite has improved along drop offs near the flats in three to four feet of water.When targeting schools of reds, scented jerk baits and gold spoons have worked well for fish measuring up to 35 inches in length.

Great action for trophy size 20-40lb redfish in Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River, as well as trophy size spotted sea trout upwards of 10lbs. Also sightcasting pods of tailing redfish and black drum on the shallow flats. Spring baitrun is underway!
