[Salmon River,NY] Water temps have stabilized and actually climbed back into the mid 40's. The bite is on and we have been smoking the fish.
[Salmon River,NY] Here we are late October the salmon are all but gone and the river is still very busy.
[Salmon River,NY] The Columbus Day weekend is behind us and what a time it was. Perfect weather! Clear cool in the AM sunny warm in the PM.
[Salmon River,NY] This was a super busy weekend and thankfully the water was up and that helped to spread everyone out.
[Salmon River,NY] With over a week under my belt on the slammin salmon river, I continue to live the dream.
[Salmon River,NY] Salmon Season 2008- Weekend #1 under the belt! The fishing pressure on the salmon river increased over the weekend but things remained the same with only a small amount of fresh fish moving through the lower end of the river.
[Salmon River,NY] Done, finished, no more. say goodbye to the 2008 lake season, I am done. All I can say is Thank God.
[Lake Ontario,NY] King & Coho Salmon continue to school in front of area tributaries and are providing great catches to the anglers that are willing to put in some time and effort.
[Lake Ontario,NY] Salmon fishing on many parts of the lake continues to be outstanding. Anglers in the Oswego, Mexico and Pulaski area have been catching salmon from 200 ft. of water inshore to 60 ft.
[Lake Ontario,NY] The Saga continues. Decent catches when we have good conditions and terrible catches when the wind blows which is about every other day.
[Lake Ontario,NY] After a few tough days this week, it appears they might be here to stay.
[Lake Ontario,NY] Well, it is August and I should be posting lots of photo's of big kings, but I am not. Sure we catch a few but there are no numbers to speak of as of today.
[Lake Ontario,NY] Not a lot of time for updates this time of year, sorry. Here we go!
[Lake Ontario,NY] From Mexico Bay to Oswego, good numbers of plump healthy brown trout are being found in 70 to 100 feet of water.
[Lake Ontario,NY] What can you say about this season? If the weather is good, we catch a lotof fish, if the wind blows we catch a few. If it blows hard, we sit on the dock. That is how the season is going.
[Lake Ontario,NY] This weekend is the 14th Annual Oswego County Pro-Am Tournament.

[Lake Ontario,NY] We have seen more kings in the last week than we have all season.
[Lake Ontario,NY] King Salmon are showing up in good numbers along the eastern shoreline of Lake Ontario. The action this week has been steady.
[Lake Ontario,NY] Summer is here and what better time to take advantage of the tremendous fishing opportunities that our area has to offer.
[Lake Ontario,NY] Fishing is up and down right now. Brown trout are still cooperating most days in the near shore areas with black/silver Smithwicks, stingers and Raider spoons working well.
[Lake Ontario,NY] Well, the Hotspot over the holiday weekend had to be area of the buoys at nine mile point.
[Salmon River,NY] Water goes down, then water goes up. Fish bite one day, then they don't bite the next. Typical late March conditions.
[Salmon River,NY] We really need a break with this weather, it is plain old cold!! We hit the water today with the temp below zero and reached a balmy high of 8 above at 2:00.
[Pulaski,NY] We have seen it all this week. Ice, 70 degrees, low water, high water, flood water, clear water stained water, muddy water, 60 mph winds, sun and clouds. What next??
[Salmon River,NY] The cold weather we experienced earlier this week made for some good ice making conditions. Now it is raining and 48 degrees.
[Salmon River,NY] The 2007 salmon run is winding down but some of the best fishing of the year is about to start.
[Lake Ontario,NY] They Are Here!!!!!!!! Salmon fishing on many parts of the lake continues to be outstanding. Anglers in the Oswego, Mexico and Pulaski area have been catching salmon from 200 ft. of water inshore to 60 ft.
[Lake Ontario,NY] This past week, the salmon fishing on Lake Ontario has been on fire. Again, they don't stop biting!!
[Lake Ontario,NY] I can't stress enough how good the salmon and trout fishing is right now. It just doesn't get much better.
[Pulaski,NY] Cold wet wintery day with high winds, snow, freezing rain and rain!
[Salmon River,NY] Water is still high and cold. A few dropbacks are biting as are a few fresh fish.
[Salmon River,NY] We worked hard for a handfull of hookups and landed a few. The river was real busy and that low pressure moved in around 10 and shut everything down.
[Lake Ontario,NY] I am back on the river about everyday now as many of our guests have cabin fever and the steelhead bug has settled in.
[Lake Ontario,NY] Chaumont Bay Sandy Pond and Black Lake continues to produce great catches of perch. Sandy Pond is giving up some nice size pike as well. Large shiners and jigs in 10 to 20 FOW are working best
[Lake Ontario,NY] Ice fisherman finally have safe ice and now the heavy snow is keeping them from getting to the some of the better spots. Please use caution when taveling on the ice as the heavy snow can create weak spots. On Sandy Pond Northern pike are taking large minnows, and walleyes and pan fish are taking spikes and jigs with small minnows Chaumont Bay Sandy Pond and Black Lake continues to produce perch.
[Lake Ontario,NY] I know it's been awhile since I posted a report but with over 100 inches of snow on the ground there isn't a lot to talk about. I spend about all my time shoveling and snow blowing just waiting for the front end loader to show up and push it all back. Here is what our yard looks like.
