[Shell Beach,LA] Fishing the wind blown shorelines with live shrimp under a cork up against the grass the guys had a great time catching Reds, Drum, Trout and Heads. The guys had a great time filling the box to the top with some pretty fish, and can't wait to get back down and go again. Total catch for the day was 15 Reds, 23 Trout, 4 Drum, 12 Sheepshead, and 2 Flounder.
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys had a blast filling up the box with fish and releasing a lot more. Total catch for the day was 10 Reds, 20 Trout, 4 Drum, 4 Sheepshead, and 1 Flounder. Check out the photos of the catch, and of the humped backed Red.
[Shell Beach,LA] All fish were caught with Campo's live shrimp under a cork. The fishing remains outstanding so come on down and see what a great fishery we have in the Shell Beach area.
[Shell Beach,LA] Time was running out and we had to leave those fish biting, but with non stop action all day long either from the trash fish or good fish the gang has a blast. Total catch in the box was 48 Trout (logs), 1 Red, 1 Pompano, 2 Drum, and 3 Spanish.
[Shell Beach,LA] At our last stop we got on a real good bite and the fish box was filling fast. With the heat coming on and sore arms they had enough and cried uncle. Good thing because with the size of these fish I don't know were we were going to put any more. I had to stand on top of the fish box to close it. They had a great time and it was a pleasure to spend the day with them. Total catch for the day was 88 Trout (2-4 pounds), 5 Reds, 2 Pompano, 3 Spanish, and 1 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] The Trout were eating up under a cork. In no time the box was filed with limits of nice Trout. Total catch for the day was 75 Trout, 1 Sheepshead, and 1 Red (released).
[Shell Beach,LA] We left them biting and easily could have finish out my limit too, but we had plenty and the heat was coming on so to the house we went. Total catch for the day was 113 Trout, 4 Reds and 1 Sheepshead. The guys had a great time and will be back soon.
[Shell Beach,LA] Total for day one was 100 Trout, 1 Red (many others released), 3 Spanish, and 8 Sheepshead. Total for day 2 was 75 Trout, 4 Reds, 4 Sheepshead, and 4 Spanish. It was two fun filled days on the water with some great guys.
[Shell Beach,LA] It was a day of constant action, a lot of fun, and limits for all. Same thing for the rest of the crew that was with Capt. Frank, they limited out early. Total catch for the day was 100 Trout, 5 Sheepshead, 3 Flounder, 20 Channels, and 3 big Reds that were released.
[Shell Beach,LA] The West wind made things tough for a couple of days. All groups had a great time and caught lots of fish. The only thing hotter than the temps is the hot fishing action in Shell Beach.
[Shell Beach,LA] Everyone had a great time and Amanda sure taught those guys how good a fisherlady she is. Total catch was 150 Trout, 2 Reds, and 2 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] Live bait under a cork or with just a split shot made short order of our limits. Total catch was 150 Trout and lots of other monsters released. It was fun day on water with a very nice family.
[Shell Beach,LA] Total catch was 65 Trout, 6 Reds, 4 Sheepshead, 1 Drum, and 2 Flounder. We had a fun day of fishing and nice box of fish on a windy day.
[Shell Beach,LA] It was a fun day of fishing with a few extra twists. Total catch was 150 Trout, 3 Reds, and 6 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys put their limits in the boat and when they stopped to eat some lunch I picked up a rod and put a few in the boat for me. The wind laid down as the morning went on, so with an over stuffed fish box and flat seas we headed to the house. Total catch was 135 Trout, 2 Drum, and 1 Pompano.
[Shell Beach,LA] We finally did get away from them and got on a good Trout bite and the guys caught their limits just in time so we could head on in and beat the rain. Total catch was 50 Trout (1-3 pounds), 2 Sheepshead, and lots of big Reds in the 30 pound class released.
[Shell Beach,LA] I had the pleasure of fishing with Jim and his daughter Lauren. Jim fished with me last year and wanted to put Lauren on some Trout and Reds. Since they flew into town and were not interested in keeping much if any fish to take home it was mostly catch and release. They caught a whole lot of fish over the two days and had a great time.
[Shell Beach,LA] Total catch was 100 Trout, 2 Sheepshead, 2 Drum, and more fun than the law should allow.
[Shell Beach,LA] They had a great time spending some quality time doing some quality fishing and I had the pleasure of sharing it with them. Mission accomplished.
[Shell Beach,LA] Big Trout were flying into the boat left and right and I had to empty my drink box to hold all of the fish. Total catch was 100 Trout, 2 Reds, 2 Drum, and 8 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] The wind made for a lot of missed fish today, but 63 nice Trout from 13-20, 6 Sheepshead, and 3 Flounder made it to the box. Tough conditions, but the guys had a great time and caught plenty of fish.
[Shell Beach,LA] Fishing with shrimp under a cork and on the bottom the guys put together a good box of fish with and had a good time doing it. Total catch for the day was 63 Trout with a bunch of Whites and Channels.
[Shell Beach,LA] The conditions were tough, but by the end of the day we had a nice box of fish, and everyone had a great time. Total catch was 63 Trout, 2 Sheepshead, and over 30 White Trout and Channels.
[Shell Beach,LA] The action was fast and the Trout were nice, mixed from 13-23. Too much fun for me to miss out on so I joined in and by 7:30 Trout #75 hit the box.
[Shell Beach,LA] We made a few more stops looking for some moving water and picked up fish at each and the guys put together a pretty box of fish. Total for the day was 85 Trout, 6 Sheepshead, and 1 Red.
[Shell Beach,LA] We all had a great time and the box was full with 100 Trout, 1 Red, 1 Drum, 1 Head, 1 Flounder, and a bunch of Whites and Channels.
[Shell Beach,LA] I had the pleasure of fishing with Al Fandrich, Steven Fandrich, Jacob and Joshua Fandrich (ages 9), and Justin LeBlanc. Total was 76 Trout, 6 Sheepshead, 2 Flounder, and 1 Spanish.
[Shell Beach,LA] Paul Mavis, Pablo Valera, Henry Castillo, and Henry's uncle joined me for a day in the Sound. Total catch for the day was 116 Trout, 2 Flounder, 1 Red (released), and some Whites and Channels.
[Shell Beach,LA] With plenty of fish on ice and lots of sun burn to go around the guys called it a day. Total catch for the day was 75 Trout, 9 Reds, 2 Flounder, 2 Sheepshead, 1 Drum, and a great time by all.
[Shell Beach,LA] They had blast limiting out and releasing several more before we bailed out to look for more Trout. Total for the day was 86 Trout, 5 Reds, 8 Sheepshead, and 2 Drum.
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys had a great time catching over 300 fish in their 2 days of fishing. Total catch for the day one was 125 Trout, 3 Reds, 15 Sheepshead, 4 Drum, and 1 Spanish. Total Catch for the day two was 125 Trout, 5 Reds, 25 Sheepshead, 4 Drum, 2 Flounder, and 1 Pompano.
[Shell Beach,LA] Total catch for the day was 125 Trout, 6 Sheepshead, 1 Pompano, 1 Flounder, several Channels and Whites, and 1 Grouper (released). It was a great day for all and they said it was the most fun Trout fishing they ever had.
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys had a blast and limits were reached quickly. Total catch for the day was 75 Trout, 30+ Channels and Whites, and 1 big Red around 30 pounds that was released.
[Shell Beach,LA] Total catch for the day was 100 Trout, 30 Channel Mullets, and 1 Flounder. They did a great job of fishing today in some not so good conditions, and a pleasure to be with.
[Shell Beach,LA] The girls had a great time putting 10 Trout, 2 Reds, 2 Sheepshead, and 2 Channel Mullets on ice. No better way to spend Father's Day.
[Shell Beach,LA] We made a few moves and put together a nice box of fish. With 50 Trout, 6 Sheepshead, 2 Reds, and 1 Drum the guys said they had more than enough fish and were ready to head to the house.
[Shell Beach,LA] Total catch for the day was 100 Trout, 9 Sheepshead, 3 Flounder, 1 Red, 1 Drum, and a lot of fun.
[Shell Beach,LA] We called it quits at 1:00 to head in with 61 Trout, 1 Drum and 1 Flounder. The guys are pretty good fisherman and had a great time.
[Shell Beach,LA] Finally we found our last three Trout and headed on in early. Catch for the day was 75 fat Trout, 25 Sheepshead, 2 Flounder and 1 Drum.
[Shell Beach,LA] A great time was had by all putting 100 Trout, 2 Reds, and 1 Sheepshead on ice.
[Shell Beach,LA] By 9:15 there were 75 nice 2-4 pound Trout on ice. We made a stop at a well on the way in to try for a couple Reds. We boated one Red, lost a few others, and also added 7 Sheepshead to the mix.
[Shell Beach,LA] Our final catch for the day was 101 Trout, 13 Sheepshead, 25 Channel Mullets, 3 Reds, 2 Drum, and 2 Flounder. It was a fun day with a great group of people.
[Shell Beach,LA] One of these days the weather will settle down. When it does the Trout will be out there waiting for you. Till then the Reds in the marsh have been a lot of fun.
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys ended up putting 21 Reds, 5 Drum, 7 Sheepshead, 10 Trout and 1 Flounder on ice. It was a fun day of fishing with a great group of guys.
[Shell Beach,LA] A great time was had by all and the box was full with 30 Reds, 4 Drum, 2 Sheepshead, and 13 Trout.
[Shell Beach,LA] Working some ponds with dead shrimp under a cork the guys put together a nice box of Reds, Drum, and Trout. It was a fun day of fishing in some not so great conditions.
[Shell Beach,LA] The second fish hooked and landed was a 27 7.5 pound pig of a Trout by Gary. It was the biggest Trout any of us had seen alive in a boat and will soon be on his wall.
[Shell Beach,LA] We made several moves picking up fish at each and the guys managed to put together a nice box of fish in some horrible conditions. Ended up with 13 Reds, 12 Trout, 6 Drum, 3 Flounder, and one heck of a good time.
[Shell Beach,LA] With Bayou Chubs under a cork the action was fast and the Trout very nice. The guys had a great time and went back to Houston loaded down with fillets.
[Shell Beach,LA] My crew were good fisherman and a blast to fish with. They made the day a lot of fun and all had a great time putting 90 Trout and 1 Red on ice.
