[Shell Beach,LA] By the time our limits were filled I had to stand on the fish box to close the lid. It was a pretty day and a fun time fishing with Drew again. Total for the day was 75 Trout (2-4 pounds), 8 Drum, 1 Red, 12 Sheepshead, and 2 Flounder.
[Shell Beach,LA] The fish box was cram packed with fish and we had a long rough boat ride into the wind ahead so we called it a day and left them biting. The guys had a great time and went home with a cooler full of fillets. Total take home for the day was 50 Trout (2-4 pounds), 17 Heads, 4 Reds, and 2 Drum.
[Shell Beach,LA] I had the pleasure of fishing with Greg and Dian Cooke of Harley Davidson of New Orleans. They had a great time and put together a nice box of fish.
[Shell Beach,LA] The Trout were slamming the cast net caught live shrimp we had and it was a blast. By this time the wind was howling and it made for a slow ride back with a box full of 75 big Trout who cared.
[Shell Beach,LA] A couple of late windy reports from the beach.Day one ended up with 15 Trout, 10 Reds, and 2 Heads. Fun group of guys that great time.Day two ended up with 37 Trout and fun day on the water.
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys fished hard and put together a nice box of some very nice Trout up to 4 pounds. They had a great time and were a lot of fun. Total for the day was 50 Trout, 5 Reds, and 2 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] We ended up with 35 Trout, 2 Heads, 2 Drum, and 1 Red. Capt. Jonathan worked hard to get his crew on some fish and covered plenty water and finished the day with 15 Trout 13-3lbs, 8 Sheepshead, 2 Drum, 1 Red, 1 Flounder.
[Shell Beach,LA] The bite was not quite as fast, but the Trout were a little bigger on average. Once again the Hybrid Flurry 3 under a cork was the bait of the day, but several good fish fell for the LSU Bayou Chub also. After we finished off our Trout limits we made a move and got on an as fast as you could cast Sheepshead bite.
[Shell Beach,LA] Right from the start they were putting some pretty Trout in the boat with Hybrid Flurry 3 under a cork. I joined in on the fun and by 10am we put our limits of Trout (14-22) on ice along with a couple of Reds.
[Shell Beach,LA] We jumped on over towards Oak River and got on a good Trout bite near Point Finne. Bayou Chubs under a cork did the trick. The bite did not last for long and stopped when the tide stopped, but it was fun while it lasted.
[Shell Beach,LA] We headed down the foggy MRGO out into the Sound. We headed to a rig that I fished the day before and the Sheepshead and I mean big ones were eating up on dead shrimp on a jig head.
[Shell Beach,LA] I could hardly keep up with netting the fish. Finally they could not take anymore. Good thing because I think we could have sunk the boat with those big hungry Heads.
[Shell Beach,LA] With the light wind we hit Black Bay fishing a couple of different rigs catching fish at each stop. It did not take long to finish off limits of big Reds and fill the box up with a bunch of Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] We kept on drifting and picking away at the Trout and there were some big Trout in the mix. The guys fished hard in rough conditions and put together a great box of fish on a windy day. Total for the day was 52 Trout and 3 Reds.
[Shell Beach,LA] Around 11:00 the tide started to rise and the bite kicked in. Each of our drifts was rewarded with some good Trout (14-16).
[Shell Beach,LA] We fished behind Hopedale drifting the flats with Gulps and Bayou Chubs under a cork. The action was not fast, but the Trout were nice.
[Shell Beach,LA] We started off drifting Hopedale Lagoon with Bayou Chubs and Gulps under a cork. It did not take long for the corks to start going down and Trout to come to the boat.
[Shell Beach,LA] The Trout were nice, but none as big as Friday. We had to work for them. Keep moving and lots of casting. The guys had a great time and put together a good box of 80 Trout and 2 Reds.
[Shell Beach,LA] Total for day one was 60 Trout and 1 Sheepshead. Sunday morning (day two) started out with a lot better conditions than the day before. It was clear and cold early, but warmed up nice later in the morning and that is when the fish turned on.
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys started catching some good Trout. We kept on drifting the area over and over. The conditions were tough, but the guys fished hard and put together a great box of fish while having a good time.
[Shell Beach,LA] The keeper Trout were very nice and there was one lost Trout that was good 4 pound fish. Jamey hooked up with and landed a big Red that was released after a photo.
[Shell Beach,LA] There were plenty of Trout in there if you could keep the bait away from the monster Sheepshead. Poles bent and drags screaming the guys had a blast loading the fish box with a lot of fish headed for the Crisco.
[Shell Beach,LA] The Sheepshead were just as thick and aggressive as the Trout hitting the bait as it hit the water. The guys had a blast and filled the fish box up to the top. It was a fun change of pace for me fishing in the evening and these guys are always fun to be with. Total for the day was 85 Trout and 42 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] As the morning went on the sky cleared and the east wind was blowing hard. We left the fish biting with full limits and plenty of time to get back to Capt. Frank's lodge to watch some football while their fish were cleaned. The guys said they had a great time and are looking to go again soon. Total for the day was 125 Trout, 10 Whites, 7 Sheepshead, and 1 Drum.
[Shell Beach,LA] We were over halfway to our limits when we hit our next spot and it was on. Good Trout and fast till our limits were done. Total for the day was 75 Trout, 1 Red, and 6 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] It was non stop until our limits were full. The guys had a great time and did a super job of fishing today with the tough conditions. Total for the day was 175 Trout.
[Shell Beach,LA] We got in a deep bayou where the tide was starting to move a little and fishing with shrimp on a Carolina rig Trout were flying into the boat. We did not have much time to stay out due to early flights so we had to leave the Trout eating up and head to the house with 65 pretty Trout and 3 Heads on ice.
[Shell Beach,LA] I had the pleasure of fish with Pat Driver, Cecil Bolton, and Bill Klutz both Saturday and Today. They were part of a large group that spent the weekend at the lodge. Total for day one was 100 Trout, 2 Reds, 1 Drum, 1 Flounder, and 25 Sheepshead. Total for day 2 was 100 Trout, 1 Red, and 42 Sheepshead. What a fun fishy weekend.
[Shell Beach,LA] We headed to the Biloxi Marsh and made one stop and did not move till 8:30 when Trout number 75 hit the ice. Campo's shrimp 3' under a cork did the trick.
[Shell Beach,LA] With worn out arms and a long drive ahead of them the guys had enough and to the house we went loaded down with fish. The guys had a blast and can't wait to get back down again. Total catch for the day was 70 Trout, 9 Reds, 7 Drum, and 4 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] We made a couple of moves and got on some good action both under the cork and on the bottom. The guys had a great time and filled up the fish box to the top and then some. Total for the day was 100 Trout, 17 Sheepshead, 8 Drum, 3 Reds, and 1 Bass (had about 12 others we released)
[Shell Beach,LA] The Okuma reels and Power Pro line got a heck of a work out, and the guys had a blast. Total catch for the day was 50 Trout, 30 Sheepshead, 12 Drum, and 8 Reds. The guys were treated Capt. Frank's fried Sheepshead while the rest of their catch was cleaned.
[Shell Beach,LA] Made a short move to the shore of a lagoon and it took no time for the corks to disappear and the Okuma reels to scream. In no time we had our limits of pretty Reds.
[Shell Beach,LA] The weather was great, the fishing good, and the company was a lot of fun. What more could you ask for? Total catch for the day was 100 Trout, 8 Reds, and 6 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] With a nice pile of fish in the boat we left them biting. They were ready to head on in to warm up and weigh in their fish. They had a great time and caught 60 Trout, 2 Drum, 4 Sheepshead, and 1 Flounder.
[Shell Beach,LA] We made a few moves and caught fish at each and ended up with a nice box of fish. Total for day one was 50 Trout, 2 Sheepshead, 1 Red, and 1 Drum. The guys caught lots of fish and were a lot of fun to fish with. They had a great time and were blown away by the fish they caught in such bad conditions. Total for day two was 52 Trout, 18 Sheepshead, 7 Drum, and 2 Reds.
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys had a blast as the Okuma reels sang that sweet tune as the Power Pro was put to the test. After a fun day on the water we listened to the Saints game on the radio in the boat on the way in and while I cleaned the fish. Total catch for the day was 95 Trout, 16 Drum, 10 Sheepshead, 2 Reds, and 1 Flounder.
[Shell Beach,LA] The Hometrust Mortgage group from Houston came down for two days of fishing fun. Day one total was 100 Trout, 25 Drum, 3 reds, 6 Sheepshead, and 3 Flounder. Day two total was 75 Trout, 10 Drum, 6 Sheepshead, and 5 Reds. Lots of fish, lots of action, and lots of fun by all.
[Shell Beach,LA] No charters for me last weekend, just fun fishing with friends. I even caught the smallest Trout I have ever seen on a hook.
[Shell Beach,LA] There were some Reds, Drum, and Sheepshead mixed in with the Trout to make the Okuma reels sing. Lots of fun with some super nice people. Total catch was 100 Trout, 2 Reds, 5 Drum, and 6 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] Stayed in one spot and filled the boat. Great time with great people on a beautiful fall day, as good as it gets. Total for the day was 100 Trout, 4 Reds, 8 Drum, 6 Sheepshead, and 1 Flounder.
[Shell Beach,LA] With limits of Trout done and some Drum in the box we hit a close by pond to look for some Reds. We picked up 5 and headed to the house. The guys had a great time and were a lot of fun to fish with. Total catch for the day was 125 Trout, 10 Drum, 5 Reds, and 2 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] It was constant action. When the shrimp started to get low we put on the Bayou Chubs and the Trout ate them up them. The guys had a fantastic time loading up the boat with limits of Trout on a pretty day. Total for the day was 125 Trout, 10 Drum, 9 Sheepshead, and 2 Flounder.
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys had a great time filling the box and when all was said and done we had 116 Trout, 35 Whites, 12 Sheepshead, 2 Drum, and 1 Red.
[Shell Beach,LA] Got on a good school of Reds and the guys had a blast with them. They had a great time and filled up the fish box. All fish caught on Campo's live shrimp under a cork.
[Shell Beach,LA] It was almost as much fun just watching the shrimp jump with Trout jumping up for them and gulls attacking from above, as it was catching them. Once again lots of 15 Reds mixed with the Trout and several 24-30 Reds. We even had one that tried to eat a small Trout being reeled in. Total catch for the day was 75 Trout, 5 Reds, 5 Drum, 1 Sheepshead, and a great time on the water.
[Shell Beach,LA] The Trout were nailing the bait as soon as it hit the water, or shortly after as the bait fell. Lots of those 15 Rat Reds on the bottom too and there were some nice Reds 20-26mixed in to make the Okuma reels sing. Lots of action, one pretty box of fish, and lots of fun had by all. Total catch 125 Trout, 6 Reds, 4 Drum.
[Shell Beach,LA] Campo's live shrimp on a light Carolina rig did the trick. The guys had a great time and are looking forward to the next trip. Total catch for the day was 100 Trout, 3 Reds, 2 Drum, and 1 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] Beverly had never fished before, but she caught on quick and had a blast. Total catch was 112 Trout (with whites), 2 Reds, 1 Drum, and 3 Sheepshead.
[Shell Beach,LA] Once again the NE wind was blowing so off into the Biloxi Marsh we headed after a stop by Campo's for bait. We started out where I ran into some good fish the day before and they both immediately were hook up. Trout, Reds, Drum, Sheepshead, Flounder, you name it they caught it.
